As for Ewing’s script, it brings Banner’s conflict with Roxxon into a head and resolves the Xenmu arc in terrifying manner. There is certainly some genuinely gross body horror in this difficulty. I don’t know just how much is Ewing and how much is Bennett’s interpretation, but In either case their twisted minds arrived alongside one another
